What are the best drugs for sexual effects?

If you are looking to increase your prowess in the bedroom with help from something other than steroids, there are three main types of drugs you should consider:

    PDE5 inhibitors,
    Melanocortin agonists,
    Pramipexole (Mirapex).

Each performs the task in different ways with different benefits and drawbacks. Please read carefully and consider all side effects before choosing what is best for your body and bedroom activities.

What Causes an Erection?
An erection occurs when arousal triggers a series of reactions in the body that lead to the enzyme guanosine cyclase being released. Every particular enzyme only fits one substrate (compound affected by the enzyme). The substrate for guanosine cyclase is guanosine triophosphate (GTP). When guanosine cyclase is released, it joins with GTP, creating cGMP. cGMP relaxes the smooth muscles of the penis, allowing increased blood flow.

PDE5 Inhibitors: How the Little Blue Pill Packs Its Punch
PDE5 inhibitors such as sildenafil (Viagra) and tadalafil (Cialis) are the most talked about drugs in the discourse about erectile dysfunction (ED). The intended effect of PDE5 inhibitors is to stop the breakdown of cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate) in blood vessels. By stopping the breakdown of cGMP in blood vessels that fill the penis, these drugs increase the amount of blood flow to the penis.

Side Effects and the Truth about PDE5 inhibitor Erections
Despite what some commercial and drug companies would have potential customers believe, these are not miracle drugs. Their increase in blood flow is only relative to how the user would usually perform without them. Consider the effects of the drug on a scale from 0 to 10. Viagra and other PDE5 inhibitors will not take an erection from a 4 to a 10. The user at 4 will see an increase to a 6 or maybe a 7.

One thing to note is the PDE5 inhibitors do not have an effect on the libido. It is not recommended to take them daily as your body can acclimate to the effects of the drug.

Common side effects include:
    headaches,
    dizziness,
    nausea,
    muscle pain,
    blurred vision.

With more serious side effects being:
    loss of vision, hearing,
or an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.

Melanocortin Agonists: Working from One Head Down to the Other
The most common Melanocortin Agonists are Melanotan II and bremelanotide (PT-141). They come in the form of injections and, unlike the PDE5 inhibitors, do not target the penis directly. Instead, they work from the brain down into the nervous system.

Sunny Side Effects
The recommended dose of Melonotan is 1-2 mg. The injection can take up to 8 hours before fully effective. Those who use Melanotan II can experience an increased ability to tan as well darkening of skin impurities such as moles.

Those who use PT-141 will not see an increase in ability to tan and should know it can cause nausea and backaches. The recommended dose of PT-141 is .5 to 2 mg.

Increasing Dopamine as a Pro Sexual Solution
Pramipexole (Mirapex), a dopaminergic drug, will have the best results through daily use. A safe dose is .25 mg and anything over .5 mg is not encouraged or recommended unless prescribed to you by a doctor. A safer choice would be selegiline (Deprenyl) at 2.25 mg as day.

You May not need ED Drugs
High Estradiol can also cause erectile dysfunction. Aromatase inhibitors can correct the imbalance and have a pro-sexual effect. If testosterone or estradiol is too low, one can sometimes get a pro sexual effect from HCG through correcting the deficit. While it will only increase estradiol slightly, it may be enough to get levels back to normal.

Conclusion
Seek to fix any sexual related problems before turning to ED drugs. But if it happened to got in a such situation be sure the above mentioned tips would help you a lot.

How your age can affect your fertility

Can a man's age affect his fertility?
Yes, it can. Men have a biological clock of sorts. Men in their 70s or even 80s can, and do, father children. But a man this age is more likely to take years rather than months to get his partner pregnant.

The older a man is, the longer it will take him to get his partner pregnant. The chance of conception taking more than a year is:

about eight per cent when the man is under 25
about 15 per cent when the man is over 35

An age gap can make a difference, too . If a woman's partner is at least five years older than her, she has less chance of conceiving within a year than if her partner is the same age. That's the case whatever the woman's age.

How do men and women's biological clocks differ?
There is a clear difference between men and women. A woman's oestrogen levels plummet once she reaches a certain age and this change is irreversible. The changes in hormone levels men experience aren't as sudden or noticeable, but happen gradually. The other major difference is that all women eventually reach menopause and stop releasing eggs. But a man can usually produce sperm throughout his lifetime.

Are genetic problems linked to older men?
Very rarely, problems are associated with the dad being older. The following conditions may be linked the age of the dad:

Restricted growth (achondroplasia) or dwarfism. Achondroplasia is very rare. It affects about one in 10,000 births. So, as a couple, it's highly unlikely that your child would be affected by achondroplasia.
Down's syndrome, a genetic condition that causes learning difficulties and some health problems.
Schizophrenia, a long term mental health problem.

Not all experts agree about the link between the dad's age and these conditions, though. It's possible that factors other than the dad's age can have an effect.

For example, whether or not somebody develops schizophrenia can depend on several factors. These include a family history of the disease, as well as lifestyle and social factors, such as using drugs, being bullied and growing up in a city.

It's known that a mum's age is a risk factor for Down's syndrome but there is still debate about how relevant a dad's age is. Overall, it's been found that the risk of Down's syndrome is highest when both parents are over 35.
Why are genetic problems more common as we get older?
Both younger and older men develop damaged or unhealthy sperm, but usually a natural process called apoptosis gets rid of them. However, apoptosis does not occur as efficiently in older men. This means that a higher percentage of damaged sperm get into the semen of men over 35 than in those of younger men.

Women who are 35 and under have a built-in mechanism in their eggs that repairs damaged DNA introduced by the sperm. But that safety net starts to break down after the age of 35. That's why some of the risks of genetic disorders only matter when both the mum and dad are older.

The risk of miscarriage, so often caused by genetic abnormalities, is only increased for older dads when the mum is aged 35 or more too.

Does weight affect male fertility?
Yes, men who put on a lot of weight increase their risk of fertility problems. Being obese can reduce the quantity and quality of your sperm. It may also mean that you have health problems, such as heart disease and diabetes, which may affect your ability to get an erection.

An extra four or five points on a man's BMI (body mass index) can age his testosterone levels by 10 years. A waist size of 102 cm (40in) or more is also a risk factor for heart disease in men. Heart disease slows blood flow throughout all parts of the body, including the penis.

Diabetes is another weight-related medical condition common in older men. Diabetes can interfere with libido and reduce sperm quality.
What can older men do to boost their fertility?
So that's the bad news. Now for the good. There is plenty men can do keep their fertility and potency in tip-top condition. Eating healthily is a great start. Some fertility problems linked with obesity may be reversible. Losing weight may lead to improved sperm count.

Lifestyle changes could improve fertility too. Before trying to become a dad, it may be worth having a health check-up at your local surgery.

Causes of male infertility are almost always easier to identify and fix than female infertility. Most of the common problems are also more likely to be experienced by older men. These problems could include:

    a low sperm count
ducts that carry ejaculating sperm becoming clogged
    infection in the testes
    problems getting an erection

If a couple is having problems getting pregnant, it's just as important for the man to see a specialist as it is for the woman.

Finally, you can comfort yourself with the fact that, while male fertility may gradually decline with the years, the majority of men will still be fertile and functioning at 60 and beyond.

Do People Really Die of Old Age?

A recent National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) report delivered some good news about the death rate in America, which dropped to a record low of 746.2 deaths per 100,000 people. For the first time in 45 years, homicide did not make the list of the top 15 causes of death, which included heart disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory diseases, stroke, diabetes, and accidents.

But what about people who reached an advanced age and died peacefully (we hope) in their beds? Where is "old age" on the list of death causes?

Officially, no one dies of old age in the United States. That's according to the NCHS, which is the government agency responsible for collecting statistical information on how we die. In the NCHS’s instructions for filling out death certificates, "old age" is discouraged for use as a cause of death: "Terms such as senescence [the process of growing old], infirmity, old age, and advanced age have little value for public health or medical research." Instead, physicians are told to list the immediate cause of death and any conditions that led up to it (for example, acute kidney failure as a consequence of diabetes).

Another related phrase, death from "natural causes," means that the person died of either an internal disease process or normal wear and tear on the body. But that's only used in certain circumstances, when a doctor has reason to suspect that a death is due to something else — for example, an accident, suicide, or homicide. In those instances, the case is turned over to a medical examiner or coroner (depending on the jurisdiction) to make that determination.

Some believe that old age as a cause of death should return as an option for death certificates. A 2010 The Washington Post article points out that it's often difficult to determine which chronic condition was most important in leading to a patient's death when they're likely to have several. According to the CDC, about 88 percent of adults over age 65 have one chronic condition, and 50 percent have at least two, with the most common being hypertension, heart disease, arthritis, eye disorders, and diabetes.

But what age is "old," anyway? We're living longer than ever, with the average U.S. life expectancy now a reported 78.7 years. And perhaps as a result, what's considered "old" is defined differently by different people. A recent survey conducted by the Marist Institute for Public Opinion on behalf of Home Instead Senior Care found that "Millennials" (18- to 30-year-olds) considered old age to start at 62, Gen X'ers at 71, Baby Boomers at 77, and the "Greatest Generation" (World War II-era folks) at 81.

"If someone is over 100, I wouldn't quibble with old age as a cause of death," Robert N. Anderson, NCHS chief of mortality statistics, told the Post in 2010. "But I certainly wouldn't like to see 'old age' as a cause of death in someone who is 75. Even 85 would be pushing it."

However, there is one animal that really never dies of old age — the turtle. Unlike other species, the turtle's internal organs don't deteriorate over time, which means they can live almost indefinitely until felled by disease or an accident. Here are a few examples: A tortoise (one species of turtle) named Harriet, thought to have been discovered by Charles Darwin in the Galapagos Islands, lived to be 176 years old. And according to the Guinness Book of World Records, a 188-year-old tortoise named Tui Malila, who had been owned by the royal family of Tonga since the 1770s, died at age 188 in 1965.

The Physiological Role of Testosterone in the Male Body.

The problem of declining fertility and potency particularly acute rises in our society today, because people are very intense hard life full of stress, the effects of environmental factors, it is all happening against the background of malnutrition, bad habits and physical inactivity. We can not ignore the effects of this for the sole reason that they accumulate slowly, silently creeping gradually deteriorating health.

Back in the mid-19th century, Charles Brown, Sekar, the great French scientist, he observed himself not only an increase in potency at the age of 75 years, but the telltale signs of a significant rejuvenation of the organism as a whole, it has emerged that after injecting extracts from the testes of monkeys. It was the beginning of a close examination of sex hormones in science, today it is these effects of testosterone are the subject of attention of gerontologists concerned with the problem of active longevity extension of humanity.

Science has long known about the hierarchy of the regulatory systems of the body: any disruption in the body begins with the brain: on the bark or the hypothalamic-pituitary region. The above mentioned negative factors directly affect the higher echelons of regulation.

Hence the limitation of any hormone replacement therapy: it makes an artificial shortage of substances and do not address the root cause of the problem occurred. A failure by reducing the potency and fertility begins with pituitary region: reduced secretion of luteinizing hormone, which controls the production of testosterone by the testes. Meanwhile, testosterone acts on the whole organism.

Let us examine the physiological role of testosterone.
Male sex hormones (androgens) to have a biological effect on almost all body tissues, initiating the processes of synthesis and construction. That is all androgens, including testosterone, is an anabolic hormone.

Thus, the main effects of testosterone are:
-Stimulation of genital organs and central nervous structures (the hypothalamus and pituitary glands) of male pattern;
-Stimulation of body hair distribution of male pattern;
-Stimulation of linear growth of the body, stimulating muscle development, the development of the larynx and thickening of the vocal cords;
-Stimulation of red blood cell formation and distribution of adipose tissue in male pattern;
-Stimulation of the formation of sperm cells with FSH and LH (pituitary) the entire process of sperm formation takes about 74 days, after which the sperm is transported through the epididymis to the urethra close within 12-21 days;
-To establish the male psyche and sexuality.

The secretion of testosterone is not constant, but occasionally, that is the cause of significant fluctuations in its level in the blood. Maximum secretion occurs between 2:00 and 6:00 o'clock in the morning, and the minimum - at about 13:00. In the body there are only 2% of circulating free testosterone. About 68% of testosterone are associated with the transport of blood protein albumin, and another 30% - with a specific binding globulin sex hormones.

In the peripheral tissues by the enzyme testosterone 5-alpha-reductase is converted to its active metabolite most - dihydrotestosterone.

Decomposes testosterone in the liver and through urine and bile excreted.
The normal level of testosterone in healthy men in the first half of the day is 12-40 nmol / l.

The testosterone level less than 10nmol / l probably testifies for the deficiency of the hormone. Border data (between 10-12 nmol / l) requires clarification and further examination.

Together with the definition of the level of free testosterone is usually necessary to determine the level of binding globulin sex hormones (SHBG).

The decision to undergo a course of anabolic steroids - it is always a very important decision. Absolute contraindications to the use of steroids are prostate cancer and breast cancer. This is due to the fact that these tumors are generally hormone-dependent, i.e., arising due to hormone imbalance in the body, and their high performance. Steroid use in such cases leads to a sharp deterioration and prognosis.

Intake of Iron & Zinc Will Help Women Survive PMS

Women who follow a diet rich in iron and zinc, have an average of 40-50% less likely to encounter a condition known as premenstrual syndrome (PMS), scientists have found out of the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences and Harvard. This is one of the first studies on the possibility to reduce or get rid of symptoms of PMS through diet.

The study's author, Elizabeth Bertone-Johnson, together with Patricia Chocano-Bedoya and a number of other experts and Harvard conducted an experiment involving 3000 women who are at the start of the analysis do not suffer from PMS. The study is published in the journal the American Journal of Epidemiology.

For 10 years, doctors studied the eating habits of women and assessed the likelihood of their PMS. During the testing period syndrome occurred in 1057 participants. Contrary to popular belief, not all women are confirmed PMS. At the same time, as part of this study, the experts recorded the presence of the syndrome only if it seriously affects the behaviour and mood of the fairer sex.

In parallel, the experts evaluated the differences in diet between women who were diagnosed with PMS, and women, who managed to avoid it. It turned out that a key difference is the amount of iron contained in their diets.

"We found that the presence in the diet of a large number of non-heme iron content, mostly in plant foods reduces the risk of PMS in women by 40%," says Bertone-Johnson. "We also found that a high intake of zinc can be associated with a lower risk of developing the syndrome. At the same time, we were surprised to find that women who consume large amounts of potassium are prone to PMS is much more than others." - he adds.

"The level of iron intake, which actually reduces the risk of PMS - is more than 20 mg per day, which is even higher than the recommended dose for women of pre-menopausal (18 mg per day)," said Bertone-Johnson. This is about 1 - 1.5 servings of iron-fortified cereals. "However, it should be remembered that the iron in the diet in large quantities can lead to negative consequences for health, and women should not use it in a number of more than 45 mg a day," adds the author of the study. The official report on the work of scholars have suggested that iron positive impact on PMS, because it is involved in the production of serotonin - a neurotransmitter that helps regulate mood state.

However, a large amount of potassium increased the risk of PMS by about 30%. Experts attribute this fact to the fact that potassium takes a lot of water from the body. "The recommended intake of zinc for women, according to standard medical value is 8 mg. At the same time, 15 mg can significantly reduce the risk of PMS. However, women should not consume more than 40 mg of the substance in the day" - the expert adds. As for other minerals such as magnesium, copper, sodium, manganese - no relationship between them and the ICP was identified.

Walnuts Are Healthiest Among The Nuts

Scientists have recognized that walnuts are healthiest among the nuts.

A research team from the University of Scranton under the direction of Joe Vinson found that walnuts do contain almost 2 times more antioxidants than other nuts.

Research suggests that regular consumption of nuts can reduce the risk of heart disease, certain cancers, and type 2 diabetes.

“Walnuts do exceed by significant amount of antioxidants such nuts as almond, peanut, cashew, pistache, pecan and other nuts. Walnuts contain the large amounts of such antioxidant as Vitamin E, they help body to resist damages caused by chemical substances and protect from diseases. “, says Vinson..

If you decided to include walnuts in your everyday diet, keep in mind that daily amount is no more than 7 walnuts.

Eating nuts did not appear to cause weight gain and might even reduce over-eating by making people feel full.

Age-Related Changes

Starting from middle age, human body starts experiencing difficulties with daily loads, as physical and mental abilities gradually fall down. In developed countries an average lifespan is 70 years. In fact, a human can live 120 years, but failures in work of various body systems, which occur in second part of life, do prevent this.

Age-related changes lead to chronic and sometimes to fatal illnesses. Most vulnerable are cardiovascular, digestive, nervous and reproductive systems. Most common age-related diseases are Alzheimer's disease, osteoarthritis, cancer, diabetes, depression and heart diseases.

Peak of growth and maturation of human body occurs at the age of 25, then follow natural processes of maturity and aging. Some age-related changes are beard hardly, but they not always do transform a man into feeble old man. Specific nature of aging process depend on health condition, lifestyle and genetic predisposition of a man.

Aging process is followed by the next changes:
  • hearing impairment (especially it becomes difficult to hear high tones)
  • increase of fatty tissues in comparison with muscular ones (the correlation may be 30%). Subcutis, which previously was distributed through the whole body, now becomes thin and as a result fat is accumulated in abdomen area. Human body loses its ability to intensively diffuse fats (including cholesterol and fat-soluble substances) and they are accumulated in the body.
  • water reduction in the body, which leads to aggravation of water-soluble materials absorption. Body reduces production of saliva and other moisturizing liquids
  • aggravation of liver and kidneys work, as a result in the body are accumulated harmful products of metabolism
  • aggravation of digestion due to lowering of gastric acid production
  • musculature weakening, aggravation of motion coordination, reduction of movability, dexterity and flexibility
  • reduction of sex hormones production, sexual function lowering
  • changes in cardiovascular and respiratory systems lead to aggravation of delivery of oxygen and nutrient substances to organs and systems of the body
  • aggravation of nervous system work. Signals from brain are transmitted not so effectively as before. Reflexes slow down, memory and ability of new information perception get reduced
  • reduction of thickness of bony tissue and strength of bones
  • gradual decline of hormones production especially thyroid and sex hormones
  • visual deterioration
  • reduction of natural production of Vitamin D

Is there Cure for Senescence?

There exist no medications to stop natural process of aging. However, the picture is different when the talk is about infirmities of age. Treatment of such diseases usually helps to slow their development and ease their treatment. However, full recovery is impossible.

When aged person wants to be cheerful and youthful, he must take care about his health. One of the most important requirements here is balanced nutrition. It is recommended to consume food frequently in small portions. It is not recommended to consume fat food.

To maintain good physical form it is necessary to make exercises, to walk, to swim, to work in the garden, to use stairs instead of elevator. Also is required mental “training”. Reading, self-improvement, learning foreign languages help to fight premature senescence.

Senescence is not a disease and doctors cannot prevent you from it. In issues about life length are interested people in their older age. The more older person is, the more disorders he has. Moreover, the more older man is, the more often he suffers from chronic diseases. Even if a man feels himself quite good, it is necessary to measure arterial pressure, check cardiac performance, vision and hearing.

Older people may suffer from mental illnesses. People die after they achieve older age. Cells become poor, body ages and fades away. However, few people die naturally from aging. Often people die from a disease which their weak body couldn't fight.

When does aging begin?
Organs in human body age at different times. Some organs age more rapidly, some more slowly, for example, first signs of intervertebral disks aging do appear in children. At 50 years in women ovarian function gets broken and hormonal balance changes. On the average, first signs of senescence appear at 50 – 70 years and with time become more emphatic.

Unhealthy Lifestyle Shortens Life

Unhealthy lifestyle shortens life by 12 years. Experts from Bupa, a British health care organization, have discovered that middle-aged English women do belong to category of most unhealthy citizens of the country. It is related to the fact that no one wants to follow healthy lifestyle: women consume too much food and do not contribute much time for sports. Other population groups also do actively shorten their lives by consuming alcohol and smoking.

However, researchers found that permanent relationship or marriage may help couples to live four years longer. “It is never too late to change your life for the better”, says medical director of Bupa Health and Wellbeing, Annabel Bentley. - “Doesn't matter your age – whether you are over twenty or over seventy – you may add some years to your life but you should change lifestyle for that. We all know negative effects of smoking and alcohol on our health but this research helps to make some calculations, so finally they know how many years they lose.”

Bupa created on their official site special medical calculator to count approximate length of human life. In order to perform these accounts you should enter your age, height and other data (amount of alcohol you consume, number of exercises you make).

Calculator defines your “health age” (which may greatly differ from biological one) and provides some recommendations to improve your health. For example, you should change your diet, reduce alcohol consumption and make regular exercises. Bupa claims that an average inhabitant of Great Britain could be 12 years younger his biological age if they kept healthy lifestyle.

Half a Glass of Wine a Day Increases Longevity By 5 Years

According to data published in Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, drinking up to half a glass of wine daily increases increases longevity by 5 years, at least, in men.

The results are based on the research in which participated 1400 of circumstantially selected men, heart-vascular health and longevity of which were examined many times from 1960 till 2000.

Scientists were interested only in amount of alcohol taken by men, in sort of alcohol and during what period of time this alcohol was taken.

After that scientists determined if it was connected with risk of death from heart-vascular and cerebrovascular diseases and general factors. Besides that, scientists were interested in their weight and diet, and if those men were smoking or not and period of smoking, if they had or not serious diseases.

Light alcohol consumption of all sorts lengthens life approximately by 2 years in comparison with men who did not taken alcohol at all. Men who drunk only wine less than a half glass a day had a life expectancy about 5 years longer.

Four Golden Rules Of Longevity

Medical magazine American Journal of Medicine says that if you want be healthy and to live a long life you should form just four habits:
1. you should quit smoking
2. you should eat daily vegetable and fruits
3. you should look after your weight
4. you should make some physical exercises

“Healthy lifestyle is kept on these four columns”, says magazine.

Scientists investigated 15 708 of Americans aged from 45 to 64. Only 8% of them follow those four golden rules of longevity.

Also American scientists named and other most vicious habits that early destroy body - immunization disregard, unbalanced diet, sleeplessness and stress. Besides that, doctors recommend to refuse from habit of watching TV, because they consider it one of the most dangerous of habits. In the USA an average American stays in front of TV 2.5 hours a workday and more than three hours in weekends. Doctors consider that this aimless occupation puts off from useful things and destroys body that helps to live a long life.

Scientists revealed how to become a long-living person

As you known, healthy lifestyle, eating “right” food, refusal from smoking and alcohol – all those things increase longevity. But, probably, few know that these ways of cares about health can help not only lengthen life with a probability of 65-70%, and also to become a real long-living person.

A research, in which participated more than 1500 of persons over 70 years from 11 European countries, showed that in people, preferring Mediterranean food (maximum of fruits, vegetables and fish, minimum of meat and diary products - that is exactly what dietologists recommend), keeping from smoking, drinking maximum one glass of red wine per week, keeping their physical form with everyday sports minimum half an hour, the probability of death under the age of 90 goes down to 65% in comparison with average people.

It turned out that the most important factor ensuring longevity is physical activity (it lowered the probability of death on 37%), followed by refusal of smoking (35%), healthy food (23%), moderation in taking alcohol (22%). Most effectively healthy lifestyle acts upon probability of death from heart diseases, going down to 64%, blood vessel diseases (61%) and cancer (60%).

“Modern people spend great money to treat diseases that are considered age-related - ischemic heart disease, attacks, hypertension, some kinds of cancers”, said doctor Mayer Stampfler, the leader of the research, in an interview for BBC. - And why do people forget that a disease is easier to prevent than to treat? In our research participated people which just followed doctor's standard recommendations, that can do everyone. And the result is quite significant.”
